Candidates must possess a Degree in Science or Engineering from a University, recognized by Government of India or Government of Kerala with at least one of the flowing subjects (Agriculture,Botany,Chemistry,ComputerApplication/Computerscience,Engineering,Agriculture/Chemical/Civil/Computer/Electrical/Electronics/Mechanical), Environmental Science, Forestry,Geology, Horticulture, Mathematics Physics, Statistics, Veterinary Science, Zoology.)

Minimum Physical Standards are prescribed below
For Male
- Candidates Height – 168 cms
- Chest – 81 cms(Normal)
- Chest expansion-5 cms
For Female
- Height – 157 cms
Selection process
- OMR test.
- Descriptive test.
- physical test for the successful candidates in the descriptive test.
